a clean and minimal rectangular shoulder bag, cut from a single piece pattern in a 2.5mm vegetable tanned culatta leather, and finished with a deep black hand dyed treatment with subtle natural undertones to accentuate the leathers grain.
culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and firm temper. vegetable tanning is a traditional method of treating the hide using natural extracts such as tree bark.
hand sewn over a 25 hour period without the use of machines using our signature overlock stitched to form the bags side panels, in a hand waxed 0.95mm japanese linen thread.
multiple interior pockets can accommodate an array of valuables and features a zipper pocket with a custom 10 hour slow oxidised .925 silver zipper pull. our signature iron shank sits centre stage and forms the closure to the front, and a hand sewn adjustable leather shoulder strap is attached to a single iron ring at the rear.
